Metropolia day at the Expo on 25 September

On 25 September, Metropolia will have its own presentation in Kirnu, made possible by a partnership agreement with Finpro on the implementation of the expo media.

- We will be meeting with management from our partner universities of applied sciences and with people we have been in partnership negotiations – from places like Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea, Japan, Singapore and Malaysia, says Arja Hannukainen, Head of International Relations.

Asia is an important focus area for Metropolia’s international partnerships. Through its presence at Expo 2010 Shanghai, Metropolia wishes to boost its image of Finland’s biggest multidisciplinary university of applied sciences and to broaden its international cooperation with Chinese and other Asian higher education institutes and businesses.

In Asia it is important to create long-term connections with high-level decision-makers in order to create new forms of cooperation.
Metropolia is willing to engage in research and project cooperation, expertise and teaching method exchange, education export and to expand on the existing student or teacher exchange.
