Metropolia Collaboration Network Expands with the United Arab Emirates

After the signing ceremony at the University of Sahrjah, College of Health Sciences on January 28th 2014, the Finnish Ambassador in the UAE, Mr Ilkka-Pekka Similä (from the left), President Riitta Konkola, Vice Chancellor for Medical and Health Sciences Colleges, Professor Hossam Hamdy, Dean, Professor Bassamat O. Metropolia’s Enterprise Solutions is proud to announce the expansion of the international collaboration network in the United Arab Emirates (the UAE). President and Managing Director Riitta Konkola travelled to the region to sign the contracts between the University of Sharjah in Sharjah Emirate, and the Fatima College of Health Sciences in Abu Dhabi. His Excellency, the Finnish Ambassador in the UAE, Mr Ilkka-Pekka Similä honored both of the occasions by being present.

The delegation enjoyed and appreciated the warm welcome at both universities. President Konkola shared the views of her colleagues at both universities by expressing her satisfaction that the collaboration is proceeding towards concrete actions.
