Metropolia among top Finnish universities to participate in GESS Dubai 2016

Metropolia University of Applied Sciences is participating in a delegation showcasing the wide range on Finnish educational expertise at the Global Educational Supplies and Solutions (GESS) exhibition to be held 1.-3.3.2016 in Dubai, UAE.

A record number of 18 Finnish companies will be present this year at GESS, sharing their innovative education and technology solutions to schools and universities attending the region’s leading education exhibition and conference.

Metropolia is the largest university of applied sciences in Finland, presenting at GESS its consultation services, degree programmes, tailor-made courses as well as research, development and innovation services. Metropolia's representative in Dubai is Aija Ahokas, Manager, Education Export.

“There is a huge interest in the Finnish education system in the Gulf region. Metropolia’s strength is the capability to offer comprehensive and multidisciplinary solutions both to private and public sectors”, says Director Katri Luukka.

In addition to Metropolia, the following Finland’s universities have confirmed their participation at GESS Dubai: University of Helsinki, Tampere University of Applied Sciences (TAMK), Laurea University of Applied Sciences, Lahti University of Applied Sciences, JAMK University of Applied Sciences and Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences. The stand is located in N40 in Dubai World Trade Center.
