Finnish inventions have been awarded in Germany at the KWF-Tagung forestry fair 9-12.6.2016. Metropolia’s and UPM’s joint Biofore Concept Car received the KWF-Vision Award. Biofore car was praised as "a brilliant example of innovative use of wood" and was described as a pioneering development project.
KWF-Tagung fair was now held for the 17th time. The four-day event held in Roding, Bavaria had a record number of 550 exhibitors from 25 countries. KWF-Tagung is emerging as one of central Europe's most important forestry events and with increasing number of exhibitors and visitors also as one of the largest forestry fairs worldwide.
