Metropolia raised interest in the joint application

This spring’s joint application for Finnish institutions of higher education ended on 5th April. A total of 151 600 applicants pursued a study place at the Finnish universities and universities of applied sciences.

Of all the universities Metropolia received the most applications, a total of 24 628 candidates; 11 829 applicants had Metropolia as a primary choice. On the basis of the total number of applications second most applied study place was University of Helsinki, with 23 187 applicants.

Metropolia offered this spring a total of 106 study options in four different fields: Culture, Business, Health Care and Social Services, and Technology.

The results of the application shall be published no later than 30 June 2017. Accepted students need to approve the given study place on 14 July 2017 at 15 at the latest.
