The delegation of H.E. Lyonpo Norbu Wangchuk, Minister for Education of Bhutan, visited Metropolia UAS on Thursday 26.10.2017. The visit’s goal was to promote co-operation opportunities with the Department of Clean Technology.
The delegation was welcomed by Dr Katri Luukka, the Director of Continuing Education and Enterprise Services at Metropolia UAS.
Ms Aija Ahokas, Manager of Education Export, gave an introduction of Metropolia UAS and EduExcellence Ltd. The Senior Lecturer, Mr Kaj Lindedahl hosted the tour in the campus facilities, including various learning environments and laboratory areas, as well as presented the Degree Programmes in the Department of Clean Technology to the guests.
The discussed topics included e.g. water management, sustainable development and circular economy.
The meeting took place at Metropolia Myyrmäki Campus. The campus is focused in the fields of Industrial Technologies and International Business.
Metropolia UAS co-operates in education export through EduExcellence Ltd., a joint company of three major Helsinki metropolitan Universities of Applied Sciences: Haaga-Helia, Laurea and Metropolia. It provides a wide selection of higher education solutions, in addition to education sales, other products and services developed in the context of RDI (research, development and innovation) and education.
