The Cambridge Venture Camp got 78 applicants, and 17 students were chosen to participate the camp. The camp is organized by 3UAS – Haaga-Helia, Laurea and Metropolia Universities of Applied Sciences. The program for the camp is organized by Laurea Entrepreneurship Society, LaureaES.
Suvi Lehtonen – the chair in LaureaES says that the camp has started really well and the applicants are clearly motivated to work on their business ideas. During the program held in Helsinki, students are for example practicing pitching and creating visual ideas for their future businesses. The camp will continue 18th of March when students are going to travel to Cambridge!
Veera Hautamäki and Johanna Kärki – students from Haaga-Helia have their own business ideas which they will develop during the camp program. Johanna is interested in developing the brand for Finnish food and Veera is motivated to start a digital communication business, which will offer communication services based on storytelling.
