Industrial Design

An industrial designer is a product designer with a comprehensive  outlook on design as a part of business operations. The industrial  designer possesses skills in theory and practice that are essential to  the profession. These include observation of the visual surroundings, communication skills, user-focused problem solving, concept design, materials and manufacturing technology and 3D shape design.

The industrial designer specializes in industrially manufactured serial products that incorporate user-friendly, functional and aesthetic qualities to production and financial values.

The industrial designer can work in product development and design teams with team members of diverse backgrounds, either in the industry or as an entrepreneur.
