Orientation and Academic calendar
The academic year is divided into two semesters: autumn semester and spring semester. Both semesters have two periods: 1 and 2 in the autumn, 3 and 4 in the spring.
Your exchange period starts with an orientation where you will get all the information regarding your studies, practical issues as well as daily life in Finland. Most of all, you will get to meet other exchange students! Attending the orientation is compulsory, so make sure to plan your arrival accordingly. A more detailed orientation program will be sent to you later.
