The School of ICT trains engineers and highly qualified specialists in the ICT field for expert positions servicing our global information society. An engineering degree equips you with the skills to design, develop, implement, operate and maintain modern ICT tools and applications that abound in our daily lives today and will further proliferate in the future.
Bachelor of Engineering degrees are offered in English in Information Technology and Media Engineering, and in Finnish in Information Technology, Media Technology, Industrial Management and Health Informatics. Master’s degrees for professionals already in the ICT field are offered in Information Technology, Industrial Management and Business Informatics. All of our Master’s programs are conducted entirely in English and they are scheduled to accommodate professionals working fulltime. We also offer non-degree programs (specialization studies), adult education and open university studies – as Finland’s largest university of applied sciences our curriculum is extensive and our community diverse.
Our curriculum is further enriched by partnerships with the industry and active participation in innovation and R&D projects. Our core strengths lie in software programming, computer networks, telecommunications, embedded software, media technology, learning technologies, health informatics applications and ICT business processes.
