Versatile co-operation with employers
Through Career Services the employer reaches the students in the following study phases; work placement, Bachelor's thesis, summer job, graduation.
Majority of the Bachelor's theses are completed as projects directly designed for the needs of the employer.
In different fields of study there are projects where the employers, students and the staff of the Metropolia get an opportunity to work together.
Through Metropolia Support Funds the employers have an opportunity to support the students, i.e. helping to complete their Bachelor's thesis.
In Metropolia's educational development the Advisory Boards have and important role and there is a strong representation from the companies in committees.
The active co-operation in alumni ensures that Metropolia is tightly linked with the businesses that bring along fresh ideas form business life.
Most of the degree programmes have courses, where guest speakers from business world are essential part of the course content.
Metropolia's Magazine Focus (English summaries) is for customers, cooperation partners and interest groups. The target of Focus is increase the knowledge of Metropolia and its degree programmes.
