The goal of the Degree Programme in Electronics is to educate qualified engineers specialized in either electronics design or sensor systems. Subjects

In order to be a specialist in electronics engineering you should have a profound knowledge in mathematics and physics together with a broad understanding in different fields of electronics ranging from circuit theory and programming through analog and digital fundamentals to embedded software design, radio and wireless technology, semiconductor sensor systems, RFID, etc. All these subjects are covered deeply in your studies including active lectures, practical project works, laboratory assignments and hands-on experience in manufacturing circuits and systems.

The job possibilities for a qualified electronics engineer vary from designing circuits and systems for various different electronics applications to management and quality control in electronics manufacturing or implementing wireless sensor systems for environmental control, energy efficient housing or other activities.
