These studies enables you to follow the professional development of the field, both from the applied research and practical viewpoints. The aim is to educate you to be able to work in advanced specialist tasks in various areas of ICT, focusing on using modern tools and methods. Studies are implemented as evening and multiform studies, and designed to enable students in full-time employment to participate.
Structure of Studies
The degree consists of Professional Studies (30 ECTS credits) and a Final Year Project (30 ECTS credits). In the first study year, you will undertake a course in Applied Mathematics, and complete 25 ECTS from our course offerings for Professional Studies. Lectures will take place during two or three of the weekday evenings, and possibly some Saturdays. The second study year is reserved for a Final Year Project (Master´s Thesis).
Studies consist of lectures, laboratory work, assignments and projects as well as independent studying. During laboratory work and projects, you will learn to acquire and process information, and to assess and solve complex problems. A Final Year Project (Master of Engineering Thesis) is usually completed in collaboration with your employer or other company.
Career Prospects
A successful student will graduate with a Master of Engineering Degree in Information Technology, and is able to work in advanced specialist tasks in international engineering surroundings of telecommunications and software industries.
