Admission Criteria
The Rectors' Conference of Finnish Universities of Applied Sciences has given a Recommendation on Student Admission Criteria (pdf) for the Bachelor’s Degree programmes in the joint application system. Polytechnics/universities of applied sciences decide their own student admission criteria based on the recommendation.
The recommendation is applied to Metropolia’s Degree Programme in Media Engineering with the following exceptions:
- The Degree Programme will use Metropolia’s own entrance examination for Information Technology and Media Engineering Degree Programmes. Other entrance examination results will not be considered.
- The English language test is compulsory for all applicants in the entrance examination; exemption is not possible.
- School performance points will not be considered but the student selections will be made solely on the basis of entrance examination results.
