Helsinki Metropolia University of Applied Sciences has recently started a student exchange to Lebanon, and yearly sends students from social and health services to do their work placement there among Palestinian refugees. Welcome to hear the experiences of the first exchange students, to discuss refugee issues and to get acquainted with a photography exhibition!
The work placement of Metropolia's students among Palestinian refugees in Lebanon during spring 2009 was an impressive experience. Pictures taken by Emmi Toivonen, a student of Social Services, have been turned into an exhibition "Children of endurance - Palestinian refugees in Lebanon".
