The Board of Directors of Metropolia University of Applied Sciences discussed Metropolia's budget for 2016 at a meeting on 8 October 2015.
The Board authorised Metropolia's management to prepare a proposal for co-operation negotiations, based on the economic outlook for 2016–2020.
"The economic outlook for the coming years is challenging owing to, for example, cuts in government funding, requiring Metropolia to take action," says Managing Director, President Riitta Konkola.
The proposal will be discussed latest at a Board meeting on 17 December 2015.
