One of Metropolia’s joint degrees, the Erasmus Mundus Master’s Programme in Emergency and Critical Care Nursing (EMECC) has come to an end. The students and faculty members of the consortium celebrated the graduation of the last students at the University of Oviedo on February 9th.
In addition to Metropolia, the programme was jointly run by the University of Oviedo (coordinator) in Spain, along with the University of Algarve and the Higher Health School of Santarem in Portugal. 54 students from 25 countries in five cohorts have graduated. An indication of success is that all students who started their studies also completed them within the expected time.
At Metropolia, the Department of Health Care Diagnostic Services and Health Service Management was responsible for the running of the EMECC programme.
