Van Lang University and Metropolia strengthen their cooperation - focus on cleantech and sustainability

Van Lang University in Vietnam and Metropolia UAS signed a Memorandum of Understanding in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam on 10th of April 2019. The agreement is for the fields of Business, Culture and Technology.

The aim is to strengthen mutual academic cooperation both in staff and teacher exchange as well as in research and development projects, both inter-school and broader. The focus is especially on cleantech, sustainable development and environmental measurement.

“This is an excellent opportunity to create long-term cooperation with a modern and dynamic university”, says Senior Lecturer Kaj Lindedahl who represented Metropolia UAS in Vietnam.

Jari Olli, Head of School of Smart and Clean Solutions at Metropolia continues: “We are looking for concrete regional development projects in Vietnam, especially related to the technologies of our core expertise i.e. environment, sustainability and measurement.”
