- Welcome to the intelligent enterprise - Machine learning 101 and the practical application in business processes
- Custom applications – From pro code to low code to no code
- Business analytics – From insights to action
- Security in the cloud – How do we secure the cloud and operate it in a secure way?
- Cloud operations – Now we are there, how do we operate our landscape?
- The sovereign cloud – Regulatory compliance and geopolitical aspects
- Sustainability and the cloud – Architecting for sustainability, from infra to apps
- Waves and trends in technology – Buzz versus reality
- Welcome to the metaverse – From web 1.0 to web 3.0 and the potential of the metaverse

Career in professional services demystified:
- Overview of the market – what are the career options out there?
- Case study: from junior analyst to global director
- The continuous learning journey
- Inclusion and diversity


Learning objectives

As an outcome of the course, the participants will:
- Gain a basic understanding of cloud technologies for business applications across a wide range of platforms (SAP, Microsoft, Amazon, Google and others)
- Learn how to architect a solution starting from a business problem statement and articulate the value and business case to business stakeholders
- Get practical experience in low code no code application development
- Understand what a career in professional IT services looks like and be prepared to enter the labor market


Prerequisites

We conceived this course purposefully to be as open as possible. Therefore, the only pre-requisites are:
- An interest in cloud technologies
- A potential interest in a career in professional IT services
- Active participation and attendance

Technical pre-requisites:
- Laptop
- Microsoft Teams client (or browser)
- Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge (latest version)
- SAP Universal ID (we will create one at the start of the course)
- Google Docs

Practical pre-requisites:
- If you don’t have one yet, create a LinkedIn profile
- Pre-meet the faculty on LinkedIn
- Connect on LinkedIn with the faculty – please mention that you will be attending the course


Evaluation criteria

Changing the approach this year:
- Online participation 5 out of 5 days is 50% of the score
- Remaining 50% is allocated to active participation in the discussions and tasks we will do during the online sessions

Participants need to reach a 50% score to pass
