The Finnish Joint Application is a national application procedure the Finnish higher education institutions use when selecting new students. Please read more about the Finnish application system at Studyinfo.fi.

Metropolia offers only one English-language degree programme in autumn 2023 joint application:
Please note that to be selected by the International UAS Exam, the applicants have to prove their English language skills either by an internationally recognized language test or previous studies. The required documents must be attached to the Studyinfo application no later than 21 September 2023 at 3:00 pm Finnish time (UTC/GMT+2). The applicant needs a valid, acceptable identification document to be able to participate in the International UAS Exam.

The first joint application of spring is aimed at those wishing to apply for an education leading to a higher education degree in English. Joint Application is a national application procedure the Finnish higher education institutions use when selecting new students. In Joint Application you can apply to up to six (6) higher education degree programmes with one application form. The next application period is 3 – 17 January 2024 at 3 pm (local time in Finland).
The Separate Application for International Degree Programmes is aimed at those wishing to apply for an education leading to a higher education degree in English. This application procedure is used by Metropolia when selecting new students on the basis of a SAT test, foreign qualification and/or international pathway studies such as the Edunation Pathway Diploma. The next application period will begin on 1 January 2024.
The Application on the Basis of Metropolia’s Open UAS Studies is aimed at those who have completed open UAS studies at Metropolia University of Applied Sciences. Application period is twice a year and takes place between (for some degree programmes the application period may end earlier than mentioned below):
The Application on the Basis of Finnish Higher Education Studies is aimed at those who have completed higher education studies in Finland. Application period is twice a year and takes place between (for some degree programmes the application period may end earlier than mentioned below):
The transfer application is aimed at those enrolled in studies leading to a Finnish higher education degree who wish to transfer their valid study rights from one Finnish higher education institution to Metropolia or within Metropolia from one degree programme to another, so that the degree title changes.
