Edunation and Metropolia co-operate to accelerate international on demand education

The Finnish education export company Edunation and Metropolia have signed a cooperation agreement regarding the international on demand education.

Metropolia seeks growth by investing in international on demand education, where Edunation's role is to support and strengthen this activity in the target countries. The purpose of Edunation is to work in close cooperation with Metropolia to recruit international students for graduate studies, summer schools or study modules abroad, as well as to recruit entire groups for on demand-oriented education.

"Finland and its higher education institutions have enormous potential around the world. Our task at Edunation together with our partner institutions is now to start to utilize this potential much better. We are excited to work together with Metropolia. We are only at the beginning of the path, but we have every opportunity to quickly gain a leading position in Europe as a high-quality education provider, and at the same time make a profitable business for everyone”, comments Edunation's Co-Founder Harri Suominen.

Finland's education system has a good reputation, and the growing international education market offers Metropolia interesting growth and development opportunities in the long run”, says Katri Luukka, Director of Metropolia's Continuing Education and Enterprise Services.

Edunation has experience particularly in the Asian education market. Its purpose is to introduce 150,000 foreign students to Finnish higher education institutions.
