Aims
The aim of the program is to develop a thorough understanding of the causes of pollution and the preventative actions available to minimise its impacts.
The course will develop an excellent knowledge of Environmental Engineering and Technology as well as provide a strong multi-disciplinary understanding of Civil Engineering, Automation Measurement Systems and Environmental Management. Specialisation studies are focused on Renewable Energy Engineering and Environmental Construction Engineering. As an Environmental Engineer you will have responsibility for overall management of environmental issues, with the skills to operate and communicate internationally.
Subjects
The basic subjects of the Environmental Engineering programme mainly consists of natural sciences and introductory engineering. After the basic studies you also understand the importance of international communication, business and cultural skills. Professional subjects focus on the prevention and control of environmental problems.

Career Prospects
Multi-disciplinary engineering subjects, projects, industry-based training and a final year thesis will develop the engineering skills required to address environmental issues from the technology perspective.
