What kind of new experiential concepts would you create for events?

At the Creativity x Events Pitching Day on 7 October 2026, 13:30–17:00, creatives get to pitch their new event‑ready concepts directly to a jury made up of representatives from both the event and creative industries, receive targeted feedback from industry experts, and network with other professionals.

The aim of Creativity x Events Pitching Day is to bridge the gap between the creative field and the events sector, and to offer a platform for cross‑sector collaboration and new revenue opportunities. You are warmly welcome to join us!

A concept suitable for events could be, for example:

  • an interactive artwork
  • a sound or light installation
  • an app, tool or other technological innovation
  • a game or gamified experience
  • an experience in extended reality (XR / VR / AR / MR)
  • a performance
  • … or any other content that can be sold and tailored to the needs of an event.

Jury & feedback

The Creativity x Events Pitching Day jury consists of experts from the event industry and the creative industries. The jury will be present throughout the event and will give oral feedback to pitchers immediately after their presentations.

The jury line‑up includes:

  • Emilia Mäki, CEO, Musiikkitalo
  • Ronny Eriksson, CEO & Founder, ODDfest.
Ronny is known as a supporter and enabler of new, slightly “odd” cultural concepts.
  • Arttu Kallio, Creative Director, LIWLIG Finland (prev. Tapaus).
LIWLIG is the leading Nordic Agency in event and brand experience with offices in Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland.
  • Fredrik Sirén, Business Coach & Trainer, Turbiini Campus Incubator, Metropolia UAS.

More information about the other jury members will be published later on this page.

Participation

Anyone working in the creative industries can take part with their new creative concept or content suitable for events. The content/concept must be customizable to the needs of different events, and it must aim for new business or be a new innovation.

The pitch has a maximum duration of 3 minutes, followed by a feedback session with the jury.

We aim to keep the event as relaxed and welcoming as possible. In addition to our staff, the event will only be attended by the pitchers and the jury, creating a safe and supportive atmosphere even for the first-time-pitchers.

Participation is free of charge, but registration is required.

Due to space limitations, only a limited number of people can be accepted to pitch. Registration will close once all places are filled.
