ICT Summer School

Overview

The annual ICT Summer School 2017 will be held 1 - 25 August 2017 at Metropolia UAS Leppävaara campus. 

The international ICT Summer School gives you an excellent opportunity to enhance your knowledge on different areas of information and communication technology, and at the same time explore Finland, meet new people, and expand your network internationally.

Leppävaara campus

ICT Summer School courses are all held in Metropolia Leppävaara campus in the city of Espoo. The campus address is Vanha maantie 6, 02650 Espoo.

Classroom information:

Classrooms for each course are shown in the table above. Please recheck the classroom info a couple days before the course starts as changes may occur.

Letter explanations:
A = Building A, the older side of the campus
B = Building B, the new side of the campus

First number is the floor number.
0 = Ground floor
1 = 1st floor. The main entrance and the lobby is situated on the 1st floor in building A.
2 = 2nd floor

The next numbers indicates the room number. For example B204 means Building B, 2nd floor, room number 04.

There are some guidance to the classrooms on info-tv in the main lobby. Please ask the porters for advice if you can't find the correct classroom. Porter's office is situated in the main lobby. 

Please be in classroom on time.

Registration for the ICT Summer School courses 2017 starts for all on Tuesday 2 May 2017. 

1. Metropolia degree students

  • Courses are a free of charge for Metropolia degree students.
  • Enrol for the courses in OMA. Enrolment starts on 2 May 2017. 

2. Students from foreign Partner Institutions

  • Enrolment by email: tiina.piipponen(at)metropolia.fi
  • Enrolment time: 2 May - 11 June 2017 
  • Enrolments for the courses are accepted on a first come, first served basis. 
  • See the list of Partner Institutions

3. Students from 3AMK partner schools: Laurea UAS and Haaga-Helia UAS

  • Courses are a free of charge for Laurea and Haaga-Helia students.
  • Enrolment time: 2 May - 11 June 2017
  • Enrol via this eform.
  • Enrolments for the courses are accepted on a first come, first served basis.

4. Students that do not study in Metropolia or any partner institution (Open University students)

  • Students that do not study in Metropolia or partner institution can enrol for Summer School courses through Metropolia Open UAS. 
  • Each course has a certain amount of places reserved for Open UAS students.
  • Enrolments for the courses are accepted on a first come, first served basis.
  • Please read before enrolling: Study Fees and Cancellations. Open UAS study fee is 15 euros/1 credit.
  • Enrolment starts on 2 May 2017. Enrol via this eform.
