Applications are submitted through Studyinfo application portal.
Transfer application is available for applicants studying in a Finnish higher education institution.
Eligibility requirements (i.e. admissions criteria) are published in Studyinfo application portal before the application opens. A good rule of thumb is, that in most cases, you are eligible to apply for bachelor's level studies in Finland if you are eligible to apply for higher education in your home country. Note that master's level studies require at least two years of work experience completed after the eligibility giving degree. Always check the admissions criteria of the admission in question before applying.

Joint Applications take place in the spring and in the autumn.
Separate Application for International Degree Programmes takes place at least once a year.
Tuition fees apply to non-EU/EEA students in programmes taught in English.

In Joint Application you can apply to up to six (6) higher education degree programmes with one application form.
In Separate Application for International Degrees, you can apply to one degree programme per admission.

Upload the documents online in the Studyinfo application portal by the given deadline.
The student selection methods are listed in the admissions criteria Studyinfo application portal.
If you are applying in an admission which uses entrance examination as a selection method, you must participate in the entrance examination. Note that there may be differences in the selection methods between different admissions.
Accept the study place in My Studyinfo by the given deadline.

You can register as absent for the first year for certain legal reasons, such as conscription or maternity leave.

You must register in Studyinfo after accepting your study place according to the instructions provided. Please note that you can register as absent because of statutory reasons only, and the right to absence must be proven with a certificate by the given deadline.

You can begin the student residence permit application online at Enterfinland.fi.
