Early Bird discount
Metropolia's Early Bird terms have been updated on 25 November 2025. The new Early Bird discount applies to those whose right to study begins on 1 August 2025 or after.
Metropolia offers an Early Bird discount on the tuition fee of the first study year´s second academic term for applicants who accept their study places no later than 14 days after the announcement of the student selection by 3 pm (local time in Finland). The applicant must pay the tuition fee within the deadline announced by the university of applied sciences. The Early Bird discount is 1.000 € for study rights starting in autumn term 2025 or after.
Early bird discount is not applicable to transfer students, students selected through Open UAS or through Pathway studies.

This same applies when the student has applied to Metropolia as a degree student based on studies that they have made earlier at Metropolia, including but not limited to studies in a commissioned education group, because the students are considered here as pathway students and the discount is not available for any pathway students accepted as degree students.
