"The international aspect of the studies was very important for me when applying, and Metropolia did not disappoint. One of the best things about Metropolia Business School is the positive and encouraging atmosphere, it’s like a big family. It’s so easy to get to know people from different degrees programmes and all the teachers know the students by their first name. The staff and lecturers are professionals in their field, and they always bring their individual stories and personality to the classroom, it makes the lessons more engaging and practical.
My classmates and peers came from all over the world, it was interesting to get to know so many people with diverse backgrounds. In my case, I wanted to learn more in depth about Asian business environment. Finding my area of specialization helped me to decide my thesis topic and it also took me to Hong Kong as an exchange student for one semester."

"When I applied to studyin the IBL- program I already had some working experience from relevant fields. I knew the practical life from the field, but I wanted to know the theory and the rules of the business life.
The studies have been essential for my success in work life. Since graduation I have found myself a great full time job with a lot of responsibility. What is most important is that now when I can connect the theory with practice I can see the reasons why things have been done in a certain way and use this to development them further for better value for our company and the client.
I strongly recommend the program for students that have high career goals. In the future I want to grow to an even larger role in my company as we are expanding to international markets. After all that is exactly what International Business and Logistics is about!"

"My student years in the International Business and Logistics programme have taught me a lot, but most importantly gave me opportunities to make connections, to acquire necessary experience and to grow as a skilled specialist. I chose Metropolia because it was a truly cosmopolitan school and if I were to make that choice again, I would not change it one bit."
