I am Negin Yousefi, a passionate and determined individual, proud to call Iran my home. Iran is a country with a rich history and a deep-rooted influence on global civilization, culture, and the arts.

I am pursuing a degree in Electronic Engineering at Metropolia University of Applied Sciences. My academic journey in this program began in August 2022. This choice stems from my fascination with technology and a desire to contribute to this ever-evolving field.

How did you end up studying Electronic Engineering? What is your dream career?

I applied for my Electronic Engineering program with the aspiration to delve into the intricacies of technology. I wanted to understand how electronic systems work, from the smallest components to large-scale applications, and be a part of the innovations that shape our future.

What inspires you in your studies in Metropolia?

Metropolia offers an inspiring atmosphere filled with dynamic and forward-thinking individuals. The chance to explore the constantly evolving world of electronics, learn from expert professors, and collaborate with like-minded peers is truly motivating.

What is your favorite place in campus? How about in Helsinki?

On my campus, the library and cafeteria hold a special place in my heart. The library provides a serene environment for focused study, while the cafeteria offers a vibrant space for social interaction and relaxation. In Helsinki, I find my favorite moments in exploring the city's cultural diversity, from historic landmarks to modern attractions.

What do you do in your free time?

Reading is one of my cherished hobbies, and I often lose myself in the pages of books to expand my knowledge and imagination. Additionally, I love spending time in nature, whether it's a peaceful hike in the woods or simply appreciating the beauty of the outdoors. These activities offer a perfect balance to my academic pursuits.
