Rescue exercise in the Myllypuro area on 6 May – many emergency vehicles in operation

Helsinki City Rescue Department will conduct a major accident response exercise in cooperation with other authorities in Myllypuro on Wednesday, 6 May 2026.

Facilities at Metropolia’s Myllypuro campus will be used for the exercise. There will be emergency vehicle traffic in the campus area. Participants in the exercise will be moving around the campus throughout the day.

Training for accident situations is a regular part of authorities’ operations, aimed at preparedness and training for various emergency situations and inter-agency cooperation.
