Target group

The training is suitable for you, an IT professional who maintains the organization's information systems and wants to ensure their secure use. Participants are required to have prior knowledge of the following: basic information about communication protocols from analyzing network traffic network information security.

Targets

The course gives students the skills for ethical hacking. Students know how to define, perform and report vulnerability assessments and recommend mitigation measures. After completing the course, students can apply for a cyber security career path either on the offensive information security side as ethical hackers or penetration testers, or on the defensive information security side by understanding the ways of thinking and tactics of threat actors and implementing information security measures and monitoring, analyzing and responding to current information security threats.

Content

During the course, students develop ethical hacking and penetration testing skills that lay the foundation for success in the field of cyber security. Supported by videos and versatile interactive media, students learn, apply and practice ethical hacking skills through realistic hands-on lab experiences. The course also includes opportunities for students to practice what they learn while they learn it. Learning by doing is the most effective way to build new skills and knowledge.

Please note that the course is constantly evolving. Its structure and content may change from what is presented here. The course includes: 34 labs that support independent data acquisition and ethical hacking skills. 86 practice tasks that provide opportunities for self-evaluation and identification of learning gaps. The 10 content modules cover topics that enable students to face ethical hacking challenges.


Assessments include 10 chapter exams, a final exam and a competency-based assessment.
