Teaching methods
The course follows constructive alignment, meaning that learning outcomes, learning activities, and assessment tasks are designed to support one another. During the course, students move from descriptive report writing to analytical, evidence-based academic argumentation, focusing on how to position a topic, build an argument, critically evaluate the literature, integrate theory, write with an appropriate academic voice, and follow ethical referencing practices. The main output is a polished academic paper or thesis-related writing portfolio.

Evaluation criteria
The evaluation will be based on participation and the final paper.
