Metropolia students' protest at the Arabia campus

Metropolia students protest against the Finnish government's planned cuts and reduction of benefits at the Arabia campus on Monday 25.9.2023 from 9 am. It is a peaceful protest and will take place in a way that will not disturb the unobstructed access to the campus.

Metropolia supports the peaceful protest of students.

"The well-being of students is important to us. At Metropolia, we share students' concerns and bear responsibility for their well-being. The possibility for students to concentrate full-time on their studies and their well-being is in the interest of the whole society and Finland," says Metropolia’s President, CEO Riitta Konkola.

The protest at Metropolia is a continuation of student protests that have taken place all over Finland.
