Charikleia Kyriazaki: Applying MBA in Procurement Skills at BMW Group

Published on:

Charikleia Kyriazaki works as a Car logistics and invoicing Specialist at BMW Group in Greece. She studied MBA in Procurement at Metropolia and tells about her studies:

“The MBA in Procurement went beyond my expectations. The program is very accessible for students around the world and gave me a solid grounding in procurement fundamentals and negotiation techniques, taught by knowledgeable instructors who bring real-world experience.

Courses are clearly designed to be useful in everyday business. In class we were encouraged to work with peers from many different industries, and those varied perspectives made discussions much more engaging and practical. That mix of theory and hands-on examples helped me see how concepts apply in real situations.

Through the program I also spotted gaps in how I’d been working. Applying procurement frameworks and processes from the MBA led to clear improvements in my day-to-day decision-making and efficiency.

The program’s flexibility is one of its biggest strengths — it’s easy to balance with a full-time job without feeling overwhelmed. Overall, the course structure teaches management and procurement ideas that transfer well across sectors, so students from different backgrounds can all get value.

Finally, the university’s support was outstanding. Staff and faculty were responsive and helpful at every step of the journey.“
