Emergency exercise at Myyrmäki campus

A large-scale emergency exercise will take place at Metropolia’s Myyrmäki Campus on Tuesday November 25 from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM. During the exercise, you may notice official vehicles in the campus area.

Access to the Myyrmäki campus will be restricted to exercise participants only. Facilities cannot be booked during this time.

The purpose of the exercise is to test and improve operational models for emergency situations. The exercise will include a functional drill for the police, Metropolia staff and emergency care students. In addition, Metropolia’s management team and communications team will also take part.

These exercises are an important part of Metropolia’s responsibility and preparedness. They help ensure that in exceptional situations, actions are taken safely and effectively.
