Metropolia Supports the Development of the Events Industry — Event Brought Together Professionals from the Creative Industries
Creativity X Events Pitching Day, held on Metropolia’s Arabia Campus, supported entrepreneurship in the creative industries by bringing together industry professionals while also promoting a sustainable and competitive Finnish events sector.
Entrepreneurs and startup representatives from the creative and technology sectors had the opportunity to present new event-related concepts directly to a jury and audience consisting of professionals from the events and creative industries. Participants received valuable feedback from industry experts and were able to network with other professionals in the field.
Creativity X Events Pitching Day was organized as part of Metropolia’s Collab – Economic Sustainability and Cross-Sectoral Collaboration for the Events Industry project and the Digital Creative Industries and Beyond (DCIB) project, both of which aim to strengthen expertise and collaboration within the events industry and the digital creative sectors. On its Arabia Campus, Metropolia also educates professionals in areas such as event production and the creative industries.
