Learning objectives
The students are able
• to reflect on and justify, based on research, the meaningfulness of creative activities and arts experiences to the well-being of individuals and communities.
• to identify approaches of different disciplines in relation to creativity, culture and arts, and to analyse the elements of professional competencies thereof.
• to apply versatile knowledge when observing, planning and utilizing creative activities in social and health fields
• to foster sensitivity and compassion as part of their own professional interaction, and deal with emotions evoked in creative and artistic activities, both individually and in a group.
Prerequisites
The students must have completed a bachelor's degree.
Teaching methods
This study module (10 ECTS) is aimed at students and professionals interested in strengthening professional competencies needed when promoting health, well-being, inclusion, and a sense of community in society through creativity and arts.
Studies consist of lectures, workshops, group work, independent work.
