How Sports Hall Noise Affects Teachers’ Hearing, Workload and Recovery

Physical education teachers are concerned about noise load at work and its effects on their hearing and recovery. This research examines the noise exposure, hearing, and workload of people working in sports halls, as well as the room acoustics of sports halls themselves.

The aim is to determine the working conditions of employees in sports halls and how these may be related to their well-being. The study also aims to identify good and poor solutions for work carried out in sports halls. The target groups are physical education teachers and basketball coaches.
