U!REKA (Urban Research and Education Knowledge Alliance) is a European university alliance with a shared vision: to support the transition towards climate-neutral – and eventually climate-positive – societies. The alliance is committed to educating future professionals who are ready and equipped to drive this transformation.
The alliance brings together 30 partners, including higher education institutions and other collaborators. Metropolia University of Applied Sciences serves as the lead coordinator of the alliance.
U!REKA’s mission aligns with the EU’s goal of creating Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities, contributing to a more sustainable and resilient urban future.
