International graduates to work life!

Funding

The project ended on December 31, 2017.

A big part of international graduates are studying and seeking employment in the Helsinki metropolitan area. Through this project five universities of applied sciences in the region are cooperating with the intention to answer better to the career needs of these young graduates.

The project aims to enhance with concrete tools the employability of international graduates especially in the Metropolitan area in Finland. Such jointly executed activities are for example networking and recruitment events, as well as workshops to help international students to understand Finnish work culture and life. Furthermore, career planning practices, including digital practices, will be developed during the project.

In the end of the project, 100 international graduates have found a work place, and the network of universities of applied sciences has created a model to enhance employability of international graduates.
