Metropolia uses the JobTeaser recruitment platform for posting job and internship opportunities. Internship positions in the social and health care sector are posted via Jobiili.
JobTeaser — reach talents through Metropolia’s recruitment portal
In the JobTeaser recruitment portal, you can reach Metropolia’s degree students and alumni.
What does JobTeaser offer your organization?
In Metropolia’s JobTeaser, you can free of charge:
- Publish job and internship postings or thesis opportunities
- Strengthen your employer brand by creating an company profile
- Promote your organization’s events and other networking opportunities
- Explore the profiles of Metropolia’s talents in the talent pool
Event Publishing, Talent Bank, and Additional Users for Company Accounts
In JobTeaser, there are two types of company accounts: recruiter account and company account. With a recruiter account, you can only publish job vacancies. In addition to posting job ads, with an company account you can also:
- Publish events
- Explore students’ skills in the talent bank
- Add more than one user to your company’s JobTeaser account
If you already have a recruiter account, it must be deleted before you can create an company account. The account can be deleted via the "My Account" module. If you are unsure which account type you are using, check if the Events module is visible. If the module is visible, you are already logged in with an company account.

A recruiter account is quick and easy to create and allows you to post job vacancies on JobTeaser. Features of the recruiter account:
- Job posting, editing, and archiving functions
- You only need to provide your company’s basic information, so creating the account is faster than creating an employer account
- One contact person—you can log in using only one set of credentials (email and password)
A more extensive account type than the recruiter account. Features of the company account:
- Job posting, editing, and archiving functions
- Event publishing
- A company profile visible to students – opportunities to present your company to students
- Access to the talent bank to explore Metropolia students’ skills
- More than one contact person, meaning multiple users can be linked to the account
Tips for creating a job ad that effectively reaches students
- Carefully select the Job Area – this affects the visibility of your ad to students in the job listings and job alert notifications
- Include a contact person in the job description – students are more likely to be interested in the position if a personal contact is provided
- Specify salary information (unpaid/paid/salary amount stated) – students may also be interested in unpaid internships, but they want to know the salary details to become interested in the position
- Be mindful when restricting ad visibility – you can target the ad to only certain students, but restricting too narrowly will limit its visibility to others
- Make your ad easy to scan using formatting tools – for example, use bold text
After you have filled out the job posting for your open position, you will find it, along with your other listings, in the Jobs section of JobTeaser.
In the Jobs section, you can track how many times your position has been viewed.
Under the More menu, you can:
- Archive the position, so it will no longer be visible to applicants
- Edit the posting
- Duplicate the posting
You can also reactivate a position you have archived by clicking the "Archived" tab in the Jobs section and then clicking "Republish" on the posting you want to reactivate.
If you wish, you can either manage applications in your organization’s recruitment system or by another method of your choice, or you can manage applications directly through JobTeaser.
If you want to handle applications in JobTeaser, when creating your posting, select “By email (recommended)” under the Applications section. You will receive an email for each new application. The message will include all applicant details, including a summary of skills/motivation letter and CV.
If you use an external recruitment system, you can link it in the Application Process section by selecting External website or ATS link as the application process.
Jobiili – Internship positions in social and health care
Metropolia University of Applied Sciences uses the Jobiili internship placement system, which allows employers to easily announce social and health care internships to our students.
Through Jobiili:
- Post positions centrally – information is visible to all students in the field in one place
- Manage internships flexibly – you can define the timing, number of positions, and requirements yourself
- Increase awareness among students – ensure that your internship positions reach the right target group on time
