Turbiini is the pre-incubator of Metropolia University of Applied Sciences. Turbiini offers mentoring, events, and early-stage incubation programs for Metropolia students and alumni.
Early-stage incubation programs
Turbiini’s pre-incubator programs strengthen entrepreneurial skills, clarify new business ideas, and help develop existing businesses. Turbiini supports business ideas as they evolve into teams, sole proprietorships, and growth companies.
The pre-incubator leverages the expertise of its partner network. Collaboration includes Metropolia experts, entrepreneurs from different industries, and organizations working in business development across the Helsinki metropolitan area. In Turbiini, students from different fields work together and also form multidisciplinary teams.
More information about Turbiini’s pre-incubator programs can be found below by campus. Programs are available on three campuses: Myyrmäki, Myllypuro, and Arabia.
Mentoring
In addition to the pre-incubator programs, Turbiini offers personal sparring sessions with a diverse team of experts. Mentoring is provided by professionals from the creative industries as well as technology, business, and health and social care sectors.
Events
Turbiini organizes events together with various partners. For example, the annual Turbiini All-Stars event celebrates student entrepreneurship.
