Program details
Target group: This programme provides students with cutting-edge skills in software development, system architecture, and technology-driven problem-solving, preparing them for advanced technical roles.
- ECTS Credit value: 60 credits, an additional 30 credit units will be required if the applicant's Bachelor’s Degree consists of 3 years of study (equivalent to 180 ECTS credits).
- Accreditation (EQF Level): 7
- Language of instruction: English
- Duration of implementation: 12 months full-time for 60 ECTS (18 months for 60+30 ECTS)
- Mode of delivery: On-campus in Finland
- Start of studies: Four (4) designated semester entry points: August, October, January, March/April
- Group size: Max 40 students (minimum of 20 students required to start the programme)
Eligibility criteria
Relevant Bachelor’s Degree or Higher Education Degree: minimum of 3 years of full-time studies (180/240 ECTS) including a minimum of 40 ECTS credits in higher education studies within the field of technology.
Work Experience: A minimum of two years of relevant professional experience acquired after completing a Bachelor's degree.
English Language Proficiency: Skills equivalent to IELTS Academic 6.5.

Note that the €11,900 fee for direct applicants covers only the program fee and does not include any assisting services related to e.g. immigration process.

Admission period is open year-round, except during the summer holiday from May 1st to July 31st.

Eligibility for Master’s Degree Programme in Information Technology
Students have to meet the entry requirements of the respective programme. Up to 30 ECTS of the studies in the Diploma Programme are accreditable towards Master’s Degree.
