Learning objectives
The student
- understands the theoretical foundations of change management and is able to apply them in health care contexts
- identifies and analyses the need for change within the work community, organisation, and service system
- understands the principles of project work and management and is able to plan and implement a change management project
- is able to plan and implement changes based on evidence as an expert in advanced practice nursing
- can lead change in a human-centred way, taking into account organisational dynamics and communication
- critically evaluates the impacts of change using assessment methods and evidence-based information
- develops their own professional role in change management through interdisciplinary collaboration and strategic development.
Teaching methods
The Moodle learning environment includes independent familiarisation with materials, recorded online lectures, assignments, and examinations.

Evaluation criteria
The study unit grade is calculated as the average of the examination and assignment grades (0–5).
By submitting an online examination or the assignments of an online implementation, students affirm that their demonstration of competence is based on independent work and ethical conduct. Academic misconduct may result in fixed-term expulsion from the university of applied sciences for up to one year. Universities of Applied Sciences Act 932/2014, section 38. To ensure the independent demonstration of competence in the online implementation, the teacher may, at their discretion, require the demonstration of competence under supervised conditions or through an oral examination. The teacher will inform students of the method of demonstrating competence no later than the start of the study unit.
