Programme

ICT Summer School will be organized online on 3 - 28 August 2020. Programme consists of several intensive bachelor level courses (2-5 ECTS credits). You can participate in one or more courses. Courses last from one to two weeks and lessons are either in the morning, in the afternoon or in the evening.

Status update (June 5, 2020)

Status update to ICT Summer School (June 5, 2020):

Due to uncertainty surrounding travelling in August, Metropolia’s Director of Education has made the decision that the ICT Summer School will be held online this year. We are currently planning the online implementations and the list of online courses will be published by 12 June. The list will include the ICT Summer School courses that can be transformed into online mode and possibly some new additions.

Status update (April 3, 2020)

Status update about possible changes due to COVID-19 pandemic (April 3, 2020):

Currently we are planning to organize the ICT Summer School normally and enrolment for the courses starts in May. However, this works only if the COVID-19 situation is fully under control on August and it is not anymore a threat to our health and wellbeing. We are constantly monitoring the situation and we will make the decision on how to organize the ICT Summer School 2020 on June 12, 2020 at latest.

We are also preparing a “Plan B”, which would mean moving some of the courses online in case of cancellation of the face-to-face courses. Unfortunately, this would also mean cancellation of the courses, which require face-to-face interaction. We will post more information about this option later on.

With best regards and stay safe!
