This course is the first part of the Tekla Structures training program, designed to teach participants about the software’s basic features and applications. The training consists of an online package that includes lectures and self-paced study modules, aimed at helping participants build a strong foundation in using Tekla Structures.

• Generating construction drawings
• Customizing drawings as per specific requirements
• Marks, labels, dimensions

5. Working with Tekla structures basic workflow

• Managing and confirming accuracy in the model
• Finalizing model

This course is the next step in the Tekla Structures training program, specifically focusing on concrete structures. It is designed to teach participants how to model concrete elements, create accurate fabrication and construction drawings, and utilize Tekla’s extensive range of components that are available by default in the software or through the Tekla Warehouse.

Additionally, the course includes instruction on Tekla's model-sharing features, which allow multiple designers to collaborate on the same model simultaneously.

The training is conducted in an onsite classroom format and emphasizes a hands-on approach to learning. This method will help participants gain a solid understanding of how to use Tekla Structures for concrete design, equipping them to tackle the challenges they will encounter in their daily work in the field.

• Adding design information to the objects and the project UDA

3. Components and Tekla warehouse

• Using Tekla structure's default component and applying them to the model
• Use and edit different tools and their settings
• Downloading components and different profile types from the Tekla warehouse

4. Reinforcement detailing

• Introduction to rebar set and rebar group tools
• Modeling reinforcement bars with components and basic tools
• Bar bending type management

5. Modifying and editing models.

• Numbering the cast units and reinforcements
• Utilizing ACN numbering
• Creating filters to maintain the model quality during modifications

6. Documentation

• Creating drawings setting specifications
• Generating construction drawings, General arrangement drawings, cast unit drawings
• Customizing drawings as per specific requirements
• Marks, labels, dimensions
• Creating reports regarding the reinforcement and cast units
• Creating separate IFC models from different types of objects

7. Collaboration

• Using Modeling sharing for team collaboration
• Managing multiple designers in a shared model

It will also address the use of Tekla Structures functions, such as the Organizer, templates, and other essential features that enhance the design experience. By the end of the course, participants will be equipped to generate precise output files for fabrication and implementation, ensuring both efficiency and accuracy in structural design and detailing. This training helps participants get familiar with the basic features of Trimble Connect. Conducted in a classroom setting, the course includes presentations and hands-on exercises. You will learn how to use Trimble Connect to share project files, organize data, and work together with team members. How to view, measure, mark and comments to the IFC models and drawings. How to communicate with each participant by through the software. By using this tool, everyone involved in the project will always be on the same page with the most current information.
