The Programmes

Game Design

Game Design is where creativity, technology, and player experience come together. In this degree, you will learn how to design games, interactive worlds, and meaningful player experiences using modern game engines, programming, and emerging technologies such as XR.

You will work in collaborative development teams and gain hands-on experience in game production, gameplay systems, interaction design, storytelling, and worldbuilding. From game mechanics and level design to immersive experiences and interactive systems, you will learn how games are created from concept to playable reality.

The programme prepares you for careers in game design, creative technology, and interactive media, equipping you with the skills to shape the next generation of games and digital experiences.

Game Engineering

Game Engineering is at the moment part of Information Technology -degree as the "Game Development in Information Technology" -specialization.

Game Development covers game design, game engines, C++ programming, graphics programming, backend development and physics for games, culminating in portfolio projects that demonstrate your skills in real-world game development environments.

The programme is built around four key pillars: advanced software engineering skills with a specialization in game technologies, a strong foundation in mathematics and scientific thinking, hands-on game development projects in multidisciplinary teams, and professional skills that prepare you for industry success including teamwork, communication, presentation, and the ability to give and receive constructive feedback.

The programme prepares you for exciting careers at the intersection of technology, creativity, and innovation. Graduates work as game programmers, software engineers, XR/VR developers, graphics and engine programmers, technical designers, and technology specialists in a variety of industries. Thanks to the strong emphasis on software development, mathematics, teamwork, and project-based learning, graduates are equally well positioned for careers in game studios, technology companies, simulation and visualization development, and other high-tech sectors.
