In the field of Social Services and Health Care, you will study on the campus of the builders of wellbeing in Myllypuro, Helsinki. Completed in 2020, the campus is open to life and new encounters. It brings together human-centered expertise to develop wellbeing, a healthy future, and the built environment – together.
With around 6,000 students and 500 staff members, the campus is the largest of Metropolia’s four campuses.
At Metropolia, you will study in state-of-the-art simulation learning environments and have opportunities to network across disciplines with students from various fields as part of innovation studies.
Metropolia University of Applied Sciences is Finland’s largest university of applied sciences, operating in the Helsinki metropolitan area. Metropolia has four campuses and more than degree programmes, 17 of which are conducted in English.
We educate professionals and developers in culture, business, social services and health care, and technology. Our community of 17,200 students and over 1,000 experts is a place where different people and worlds meet.

Spring Joint Application 2026 for the English Degree Programmes
Application period: 7 January 2026 at 8 am - 21 January 2026 at 3 pm local time in Finland. Check the local time in Finland in the Time and Date service.
The Finnish Joint Application is a national application procedure the Finnish educational institutions use when selecting new students. A potential student can apply to up to six (6) higher education degree programmes offered in English. These 6 options may include degree programmes from one or several different higher education institutions.
