We offer a comprehensive range of services that support occupational well-being, from which we can tailor a package that meets your specific needs. In addition, we provide low-threshold guidance and counselling as well as lectures on various health-related topics.
At HyMy Village, students get to practice in real customer situations and develop the skills needed in future working life. The students are supervised by experienced professionals, and all services are delivered in a customer-oriented and safe manner.

Physiotherapy workplace well-being services offer a wide range of ways to support employees’ health, recovery, and functional capacity. The services include body maintenance, relaxation, and physical activation. Together, these help promote recovery and prevent work-related strain injuries. Examples of available services include:

Podiatry workplace well-being services support employees’ foot health and promote overall foot well-being as part of occupational health care. The service range includes both lectures on foot health and individual guidance, helping participants find solutions to everyday challenges. Examples of available services include:

- Lower limb assessments and personalized guidance
Osteopathy workplace well-being services offer a holistic way to reduce strain, enhance recovery, and support employee well-being. Examples of available services include:

Oral health care's workplace well-being services provide clear and practical lectures and guidance suitable for all workplaces. An occupational therapist is an expert in work ability and well-being who can both assess and promote functional capacity. In HyMy Village’s occupational therapy services, occupational therapy students use evidence-based methods to enhance workplace well-being both individually and in groups. The services are supervised by our teaching staff, who are qualified health care professionals.
Functional balance and prevention of burnout
Functional balance in everyday life helps prevent work-related stress. In cases of stress-related conditions, functional imbalance in daily activities is often observed. It is therefore important to examine what an employee’s daily life consists of in terms of activities and tasks. Occupational therapy students assess the current situation using appropriate methods and identify solutions that support well-being in both work and leisure.

Holistic work ergonomics
A holistic approach to work ergonomics includes identifying both physical and psychosocial workload factors at work, as well as solutions aimed at improving well-being and implementing practical changes. Good ergonomics benefits both employees’ health and well-being as well as organizational productivity.

Creativity for well-being workshop
The aim of this workshop is to support team well-being and strengthen a sense of community through creative activities. The activities are selected in advance based on participants’ preferences.

Good to know
- In HyMy-Village you are a client in a learning situation where our students practice, under the supervision of teachers, in addition to their professional skills, e.g. people-centered interaction with clients.
- The research and rehabilitation plan made for you by our students is always checked and approved by the supervising teachers.
- During your visit, in addition to the corresponding student, his or her student colleagues may be involved in observing the situation.
- If you look younger than 13 years old, we will check your age, as under the age of 13 requires parental consent to participate in the activity.
Our goal is to provide you expert, flexible and personalized service without haste. Your feedback is important to us for the development of our operations and services.
The City of Helsinki organises the Social and Patient Ombudspersons' services for public and private health and social services.
Social and Patient Ombudsperson:
- Advises and guides in matters related to the application of the Act on the Status and Rights of Social Welfare Clients, the Act on the Status and Rights of Patient and the Act on Early Childhood Education and Care.
- Advises and, if necessary, assists the client, patient, or their legal representative in filing an objection.
- Advises on the proper procedures and authorities for raising objections, filing complaints, handling patient injury matters, and claiming for damages, among other matters related to the patient's and client's legal rights in healthcare, social welfare, or early childhood education services.
- Informs about the rights of clients and patients.
- Gathers information about the contacts made by clients and patients and monitors the development of the rights and status of clients and patients.
- Promotes the rights of clients and patients in other ways.
