Visual Elements

At the core of Metropolia’s visual identity is the dynamic M element, used both in image overlays and as a graphic surface.

Additionally, patterns are used for CTA buttons and highlighted notes.

  • N Pattern
  • CTA Fields

Layout and Use of Visual Elements

Patterns should intersect with at least one edge whenever possible.*

When placing images, aim to frame the key content so that it is not awkwardly cropped.

CTA fields may be partially placed on top of the pattern.

  2. N Pattern

*In printable applications, such as documents, the pattern may appear in full.
