from a partner university (the exact title depends on which partner’s double degree programme you will follow during the 3rd year of studies)
Study Schedule
Your EBA degree programme studies will start in August 2022 and end in December 2025. The dates of the first academic year will be published later in Spring 2022. The first and second year of studies will be held at Metropolia Business School, where you follow a set programme.
In your third year, you will study full time at one of our partner universities for which you will be selected during your second year of studies. Please remember that the EBA programme is a double degree programme and students are obliged to complete one year of studies abroad.
Metropolia Orientation Days
Metropolia Business School will hold orientation days for all new international degree programme students on 22nd and 23rd of August 2022.
More information regarding the orientation days will be sent by mid August.
It is important that you attend these orientation days. You can expect the orientation days to be over at 16:00 at the latest.
You will receive essential study information and advice, as well as study certificates. The days will also offer a great opportunity for you to meet your fellow students.
Please note that selection is pending until your diplomas have been checked. Metropolia has the right to withdraw selection if an applicant has given false information.
Student Funding
If you intend to apply for Finnish Government student funding you should contact the funding organisation known as Kelan Opintotukikeskus. Please note that non-citizens of Finland can get financial aid for studies in Finland if they live in Finland on a permanent basis for a purpose other than studying. More information can be found at KELA's web pages
Scholarships and Tuition Fees for non-EU/EEA Students
In December 2015, the Finnish Parliament decided to impose tuition fees for non-EU/EEA citizens. The fees now apply to non-EU/EEA degree students who start their studies in English taught Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programmes. Metropolia UAS offers a scholarship system for non-EU/EEA students. More information on scholarships
